What are good sites for barter?

And where do I go on the site to post for trading / barter??

Oh and I’m trying to trade in my 1995 Thunderbird let me know if you’re interested :)

Don’t bother with barter. It’s just too complicated, especially for one-time deals.

You usually have to join an organization. Whether or not that costs money, there is still the matter of finding someone who BOTH wants your particular car AND has a car or something else that you want in return.

Bartering can work if you have a continuing supply of things. For example, I’ve heard of people with large vegetable gardens who trade organic produce for different items. One week it is cabbages, then it might be green beans, then tomatoes, or whatever. And the things get in return might be an appliance one week, a person to paint their porch the next week, and so on. But the point is that the farmer has something lots of people want (vegetables) and different people have different things to offer.

But the market for 1995 T-Birds is small. It is limited to people who love old, fast, cars and don’t already have one. The chances are small that there would be anyone in the area that is like that and also wants to sell something that you need.

Just sell your car for cash. Advertise it in Hemmings News or other places that specialize in unusual cars. Then take the cash and buy what you need instead.

I know this is not the answer you were looking for, but I think you will be a lot happier in the long run if you follow my suggestion. I wish you well.

Good luck!!
