What websites are free to post ads for dogs up for adoption?
i need to have my 2 dogs adopted out, & im wondering what are free & good websites to post ads for my dogs to be adopted.
It's not adoption, it's selling or re-homing. Anyways, websites like http://www.petfinder.com http://www.usedeverywhere.com http://www.kijiji.ca http://www.craigslist.com and your local newspaper/buy sell and trade. I suggest a breed rescue or a 'no kill' shelter.
Be careful as someone already said, people will get your dogs to hurt them if they are free or cheap. Screen potential homes.

You can also try Craigslist, (http://www.craigslist.com) but be VERY careful of where you place your dogs! People go on there to find free dogs, and then torture them! Seriously!
Another option is to find a No-kill shelter, they NEVER let your dog get euthanized. They ALWAYS get adopted, or they die in the shelter in the process.

Be sure you meet the new ownders face to face. Don't ship them. And charge a small adoption fee. There are many people out there who will "adopt" the dog and then bring it to a testing lab.

That's sad that you're giving them up.
http://www.craigslist.com has a pets section where you can post for free. You can also search through the posts there and see if you can find anyone looking for the types of dogs you're giving away. Be sure to include pictures, ages, genders, and as much information as you can, and when you find someone who wants to adopt the dog, it is usually wise to charge a very small rehoming fee to ensure that this person isn't just looking for a free target for their new bb gun.

Petfinder.com has classifieds. You have to have an adoption fee though (to make sure that someone isn't just getting the dog for a testing lab and whatnot). Craigslist is also good, but once again, go with an adoption fee and a screening process. ThePoop.com has an adoption section as well. Plus, you could try finding a no-kill shelter. Good luck with your dogs =]
