Anyone familiar with using Craigslist to post ads?
For the past 4 days I have "posted" ads on craigslist. They send me an email saying it has been posted, then when I go to check to see if it's actually up on Craigslist, nothing shows up.
Has anyone out there every experienced this… I've always posted ads with Craigslist in the past with no problems, now all of a sudden this.
you usually get 2 types of emails. One is for you to read and click on publish, the other tells you it has been posted and where you can view it. It takes about 15 minutes to get posted. Make sure you know where you posted it and what day. Craigslist has had a little problem lately, I dont know why.

That is a very strange problem. I have never had that happen and I have been using CL for as long as it has been in my city.
They really don't send you an email saying it has been posted. You get an email saying it will be posted if you follow the link. When you accept the linked page it is posted.
I know of no process that CL uses to ban a poster.

That happened to me once too but I failed to realize that I needed to follow the link in the e-mail they had sent to "publish" my ad. Once you do that it should show up within a few minutes. If it still doesnt within an hour or so I would try contacting their help desk.
