Where can i post free ads for found dogs?

I recently found a lost dog in my area and would like to find the owners. What are some sites that I can post “Found Dog” ads on?

Try the nearest shelter first, that’s where most owner go look first when they lose a pet.

Then try newspaper.

Craigslist.com is another good place.

And don’t forget to maybe call a couple of local vets and tell them you have found a dog, maybe take in a pic of it.

Trying to find a home for my 2 ferrets. Where can I post ads for free?

I am trying to sell my 2 ferrets for $100. They are females. Fixed and descented. With birth certificates. Where can I post an ad and only pay commission if I sell it or free of charge?

Craigslist does not allow for the selling of animals, nor does eBay.

Have you considered trying to adopt your ferrets out to a loving home at no charge? I doubt you will get any takers on selling your ferrets. Ferrets are high maintenance and as they age most always have medical problems. I have had many people call me asking me to just 'take' their ferrets off their hands. :-( I would be happy to provide you with a list of ferret shelters across the United States. Ferret shelters are set up as 'no kill' and work very hard to find a forever, loving home for your ferrets. Ferret shelters will also educate the person adopting the ferrets so that the ferrets aren't bounced from home to home.

Here is a link that may help you
http://www.ferretuniverse.com/shelters/shelterlist.asp

Please consider the happiness and forever home of your ferrets. I am so sorry your ferrets are not working out for you, I wouldn't take a million for any of mine!

Best of luck and please check out the above link.

How is it that Craigslist are able to allow people to post "erotic services" ads?

It's ridiculous! Craigslist is promoting prostitution, which is ILLEGAL in most states, by allowing them to post ads for free! How does Craigslist get away with this? Arent there any legal issues that they have to go through?

Many of these ads arent even ambiguous….they are all OBVIOUSLY ads for prostitution.

How are we supposed to clean up our towns when nothing is being done about prostitution, and when websites like Craigslist allow prostitutes to post ads?

Can anything be done about this?
well i know that prostitution isnt the city's biggest crime…and the first amendment allows free speech. but by allowing prostitution, couldnt that be aiding and abbeting in a crime? it just doesnt make sense to me….they might as well allow posts for hitmen…

What do you want to do?

Is chasing down prostitutes a higher priority than national security?

What about Drugs? Murders? I think the cops have better things to do than to run down all the nasty ho's on craigslist.

Trading blog posts?

Hi, i have a new blog about how to make money online.

Im looking for other blogs of similar content to trade articles with back links to eachother to help promote the new blog and increase listings.

Does anyone know if there is a website for trading posts?

the blog is at www.my-web-business.com

I reviewed over your site and before you consider giving such advice, there are plenty of things you need to improve on yourself. No offense but I don't think you jump out as an authority to give advice and several of these subjects.

What European nation established the first trading post in India?

What European nation established the first trading post in India?

A. Britain
B. Portugal
C. the Netherlands
D. France

Portugal. Goa, Daman, Diu and Bombay were the most important trading posts. Some remained Portuguese dependencies until 1961.

"Vasco da Gama's discovery of a new sea route to India in 1498 paved the way for European commerce with India. The Portuguese soon set up trading-posts in Goa, Daman, Diu and Bombay. The next to arrive were the Dutch, the British—who set up a trading-post in the west-coast port of Surat in 1619—and the French. Although the continental European powers were to control various regions of southern and western India during the ensuing century, they would eventually lose all their Indian dominions to the British, with the exception of the French outposts of Pondicherry and Chandernagore, the Dutch port of Travancore, and the Portuguese colonies of Goa, Daman, and Diu."

"In 1498, the Portuguese set foot in India, landing near the city of Calicut in the present-day state of Kerala in South India. The pursuit of trade and competition between European powers saw the entry of the British and French, among others, into India."

"Colonial India" : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonial_India

"The Portuguese were the first Europeans to arrive in India in 1498. The closing of traditional trade routes in western Asia by the Ottomans and rivalry with the Italian states, set Portugal in search of an alternate sea route to India. The first successful voyage to India was by Vasco da Gama in 1498, when he arrived in Calicut, Kerala. He proceeded to Goa. The Portuguese established a chain of outposts along India's west coast and on the island of Sri Lanka in the early 16th century. Goa was their prized possession and, the seat of Portugal's viceroy who governed Portugal's empire in Asia. Portugal's northern province included settlements at Daman, Diu, Chaul, Baçaim, Salsette, and Mumbai. Mumbai was given to the British crown in 1661 as part of the dowry of Catherine of Braganza. The rest of the northern province, with the exception of Daman and Diu, was lost to the Marathas in the early 18th century. Dadra and Nagar Haveli was occupied in 1779. Dadra and Nagar Haveli was occupied by India in 1954, and Goa, Daman, and Diu were annexed to India in 1961."

"The first Portuguese encounter with India was on May 20, 1498 when Vasco da Gama landed in Calicut (present-day Kozhikode). Over the objections of Arab merchants, da Gama secured an ambiguous letter of concession for trading rights from Zamorin, Calicut's local ruler, but had to sail off without warning after the Zamorin insisted on his leaving behind all his goods as collateral. Gama kept his goods, but left behind a few Portuguese with orders to start a trading post."
